Ori’Zaba’s Scratch Mexican Grill Celebrates National Burrito Day 2024

    Franchise News

The annual event has resulted in record-breaking sales at the fast-casual chains’ franchises and has earned
    Ori’Zaba’s multiple creative marketing awards.

LAS VEGAS – Ori’Zaba’s Scratch Mexican Grill, a respected name in the fast-casual restaurant industry, is
excited to celebrate National Burrito Day 2024, which happens across the country the first Thursday in April.
This year on April 4th, Ori’Zaba’s is offering $7 chicken and steak burritos all day in store and online with
    unlimited toppings and quantities.

Last year, the restaurant chain’s goal was to increase sales by 12 percent on this national day, but instead it
shattered expectations by recording a whopping 101.5 percent sales spike. In 2023, burritos sold accounted for
more than 37 percent of total sales. One franchise location sold so many discounted burritos that they added up
to 52.2 percent of that restaurant’s total sales for the day. Loyalty customers nationwide also received offers for
discounted burritos which resulted in increased profits.

As Ori’Zaba’s Franchise Business Partner Mayela Masoli explained, “Our fast-growing restaurant chain
continues to add more new franchises, more healthy and delicious high-quality menu items and to attract more
customers through our use of advanced marketing technologies and award-winning creative marketing
campaigns. So, I expect that this year on National Burrito Day even more records will be broken – thanks to
our hardworking franchisees and valued loyal customers…and, let’s face it, people love our burritos!”

In partnership with the North Carolina-based Rivers Agency, the 2023 Burrito Bliss campaign by Ori’Zaba’s
earned a Gold Award from the Hermes Creative Awards. With more than 6,500 entries in 2023, Ori’Zaba’s won
gold in the strategic campaigns category of the Hermes Creative Awards which highlight the work of creative
professionals worldwide. Then, the judges at The Communicator Awards took notice of Ori’Zaba’s campaign.
The competition has been held annually for nearly three decades to spotlight outstanding work in advertising,
design, public relations and corporate communications, with competition attracting nearly 5,000 entries.
